Description
Genee Touch is the robust alternative to a whiteboard. The Genee Touch has all the features and working area of a whiteboard, but without the projector glare and running costs, lighting reflection or blinds being closed
Using the Genee Touch LCD integrated interactive screen is simple and accurate to use by both teacher and student, so giving staff confidence to be at the front of the room showing off their work to colleagues. This precision interface is due to the advanced integrated "no space" construction between the screen surface and the sensing responder.
It's so tough too. Users have used all kinds of objects to control the screen, and it's very reassuring to know that it is virtually indestructible. Gone are the days of having to clean the projector filters, and replacing expensive failed lamps, downtime in the boardroom, classroom or classroom is a thing of the past.
Plug the Genee Touch into a Windows 7 computer and you can take advantage of the new multi-touch features. Zooming in and out of photographs, maps and text becomes a direct manipulation using two fingers. Orientate and position your documents on the screen the way you want them effortlessly and quickly.

The Genee Touch range gives the teacher all the advantages of a whiteboard without the drawbacks. All screen sizes come with a variety of features, which are usually found on an interactive whiteboard, such as a tactile and responsive screen and cutting edge “drag and drop” functionality. It can also be mounted almost anywhere in the classroom as there is with no projector to worry about.
Built to take knocks
The Genee range has been developed to take knocks, with toughened 4mm glass ensuring that no damage or “ripple” effects occur on the LCD screen. It’s so robust that it can withstand a 500 gram steel ball being swung into the glass face from 1.5 metres.
Environmentally friendly and economical
Say goodbye to costly lamps to replace and dispose of. Thus making the range environmentally friendly as well as reducing the running cost significantly compared to a whiteboard. Auto sensing data ports switch the screen off when there is nothing to display (it automatically powers up too), further lowering electricity use without the operator doing anything. The screens are fanless and virtually maintenance free.
Designed with one eye on the future
The Genee Touch possesses high definition 1080p displays for improved image quality and sharpness far exceeding the traditional projection display systems. The Genee Touch also has high brightness and contrast ratios perfect for use in brightly lit or sunny areas, so turning the lights off or closing the window blinds is unnecessary.
Installation is so simple
Genee Touch can be installed on a wall or optional floor stands, and is programmed ready to connect to a Windows PC using either of it’s auto-sensing twin VGA ports or DVI-I digital data port. The 60,000 hour backlight life (equivalent to 30 years in a typical school user situation), eliminates expensive replacement lamps. The range also offers a two year return to base warranty ensuring peace of mind.
